If you have flu-like symptoms, please do not come to the Royal Free Hospital accident and emergency department.
Stay at home and either call your GP or visit www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk
You should also not come to either the Royal Free or the Royal National, Throat, Nose and Ear hospitals to visit someone who is in hospital until you are feeling better. You will recover faster and reduce the chance of spreading the virus if you stay at home. Flu symptoms include:
- fever (a high temperature of 38 degrees or more)
- aching limbs or muscles
- sneezing/runny nose
- shortness of breath
- sore throat
- headache
- cough
- chills
If you have any of the above symptoms you should stay at home.
