A team of specialists from the Royal Free will be on hand to help shoppers at Brent Cross manage their blood pressure next week. On Wednesday 14 September a team of doctors and nurses from the Royal Free and Barnet PCT will be manning a stall there to mark national Blood Pressure Week. Laura Robertson, clinical nurse specialist in cardiovascular risk management at the Royal Free, said; “The team will be offering to measure blood pressure, cholesterol and weight as well as giving out general health advice on diet, exercise, salt consumption and how people can help keep their blood pressure down and their hearts healthy.” “It’s a good opportunity for people to get some advice in a relaxed and non-clinical atmosphere. We'll be at the centre from 9am to 4pm.” ends
