Christine Hall, head technician in the department of biochemistry and molecular biology, is running the New York City marathon in November to raise money for the Parkinson’s Disease Society (PDS) Christine explained: “I am running the marathon in memory of my parents, Bill and Jean Ellis, who both died last year. Bill endured the steady debilitation of Parkinson's for the final 20 years of his very active life; Jean cared for him and lent support to other people with Parkinson’s and their carers. “By sponsoring me you will enable the PDS to fund research, collect and disseminate information and, most importantly, provide vital advice and support to people like Bill and Jean and their families.” You can email Christine on c.hall@medsch.ucl.ac.uk or visit her website, http://www.justgiving.com/christinehall.
