Which medical director?

posted 02/12/2005   expires 02/01/2006

The three new medical directors have worked out their individual areas of responsibility.

Dr Tim Peachey will deal with surgery and critical care; women’s and children’s services; and the RNTNEH.

Dr Adrian Tookman will deal with cancer; neurosciences; pathology; and radiology.

Professor Stephen Powis will deal with medicine; organ failure and transplantation.

Each will also look after other hospitals with whom we have important relationships, the royal colleges and have other external duties, and each will be responsible for an area of governance.
