Parkinson’s disease (PD) clinic

The clinics are run to examine adult patients with PD and specialised muscle disorder patients, with a view to confirming diagnosis, arranging investigations and discussing potential treatment(s), as appropriate to the individual.

The clinics are run by Professor Tony Schapira, Dr. Anette Schrag, Dr. Paul Watts, Dr. Charlie Davie and Dr. Christos Proukakis.

Clinics take place every week and are held regularly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Friday afternoons.

Referrals

  • Written referrals are processed by the out-patient appointment centre, please telephone 020 7443 9757, Monday to Friday 8am-6pm for full details
  • This clinic is not available via Choose and Book and does not accept referrals from GPs
  • Referrals accepted for patients over 16 years old only

Nurse-led clinic

The Parkinson’s disease Service provides a nurse-led clinic which provides regular access to specialist nursing care for clinical monitoring and medication adjustment; a continuous point of contact; and reliable information about clinical matters and other issues that concern people with Parkinson’s and their carers.

The clinics are run by Rita Smith and take place every week and are held on Friday mornings.
